Student Employment Services

What are Student Employment Services (SES)?

Career Services engages with students and employers to offer a variety of opportunities both on and off campus that will serve college students’ ever-changing schedules, and provide necessary employment skills development. We also process I-9 verification and collect tax withholding information for NYS student assistants on-campus.

NACE Professional Skills and Competencies:

The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) serves as a benchmark for Career Services and provides research on employers, employment trends, and best practices. Student Employment Recognition Yearbook

SES Appreciation Yearbook Cover

Student employees perform invaluable service to campus with enthusiasm, dedication, and initiative. To celebrate their contributions to the SUNY Cortland community, Career Services would like to present the 2023-2024 Student Employee Appreciation Yearbook featuring 52 Student Employee Honorees and numerous student spotlights from students who volunteered to share something from their part-time employment experience. This project was initiated in spring 2020 as an on-going, annual, digital yearbook series for Student Employee Recognition. Thank you, students for all you do!
