Registration Calendar
SUNY Cortland welcomes all students to campus, including students attending other institutions and community members. Because of the various populations we serve, there are multiple modes of registration and alternate registration processes. Additionally, at some points during registration windows, the system must be closed temporarily for billing and maintenance purposes.

Pre-Registration Time Ticket Start Dates for Continuing Students Registering for Spring 2026
All undergraduate students are assigned time tickets for pre-registration based on earned credit hours. Only undergraduate students will be assigned a PIN, which will be required to access course registration during the pre-registration period. Undergraduate students must visit their academic advisor to receive registration guidance and to receive the PIN. The PIN is only used during pre-registration and is not required during the add/drop period. Graduate student registration opens for all graduate students at the start of the registration period.
