When junior Margaret Murphy thinks about the scholarship that supports her and 16 other promising future math and science teachers who are mastering their skills, she recalls the high school science teacher who inspired her.

A closing reception for “FAX,” an international traveling exhibition featuring works submitted via fax machine will be held on Thursday, Dec. 2, in the Dowd Gallery at SUNY Cortland.
