SUNY Cortland will hold the Spring 2011 “Wellness Wednesday Series” featuring speakers, exhibits, self-help workshops and other programs intended to encourage campus and community members to explore new topics around the theme “Wellness for Life.”

Children’s educational programs on creating valentines, interacting with reptiles, exploring music and attracting backyard birds will be highlighted during the Spring 2011 Children’s Museum season.

SUNY Cortland will celebrate Black History Month (BHM) throughout February with a series of events including lectures, sandwich seminars, musical performances, diverse cuisines and the annual reception in celebration of diversity.

The James M. Clark Center for International Education at SUNY Cortland is offering “Study Abroad 101,” an hour-long informational session, three times each week.

The Dowd Gallery at SUNY Cortland will hold two "Gallery Talks" for the "2011 Art and Art History Faculty Biennial,” an exhibition that runs through Friday, Feb. 18.

Noelle Chaddock Paley of Endicott, N.Y., was named director of multicultural life and diversity at SUNY Cortland on Dec. 13.

Abby Thomas of McGraw, N.Y., was named director of advisement and transition at SUNY Cortland.

Students will find life just a little easier thanks to the opening of Shop24, an automated convenience store.

A couple from Stony Brook, N.Y., MaryGrace McCarthy Lynch and Mark Lynch, were announced as winners in the College’s Super Bowl XLV weekend package.

George F. Feissner, who served the College for 38 years, retired on Oct. 3.
