Liberty Partnerships Program

Liberty Partnerships LogoThe Liberty Partnerships Program provides leadership and resources to ensure that at-risk students will achieve academic and personal excellence, graduate from high school, and enter post-secondary education and/or the workforce as highly competent and compassionate adults.

Upon referral and acceptance into an LPP program, LPP provides academic intervention and other services to youth in high school and helps them seek post-secondary education or meaningful employment. Through a partnership with area schools, higher education institutions and community-based agencies, each LPP site offers a variety of services aimed at improving high school graduation rates and preparing students for postsecondary education or workforce entry. Services include individual case management, college/career preparedness programs, mentorship, experiential learning, civic engagement, family support services, and Personal Learning Plans.

The SUNY Cortland Liberty Partnerships Program serves students in grades 6-12 in seven school districts including Auburn, Cincinnatus, Cortland, Dryden, Groton, Homer, and Tully.
