Winter Session I: December 16, 2025 - January 20, 2026

No class requirements or assignments should be due on Wednesday, December 24, Thursday, December 25, Wednesday, December 31, Thursday, January 1 or Monday, January 19 in observance of the Christmas, New Year and Martin Luther King, Jr. holidays respectively. Administrative offices are closed on these dates. Winter Session 2026 Holiday Office Availability provides specific hours during the holiday break and will be available in December 2025.
Winter Session 2026 tuition and fee rates will be available via Student Accounts in September 2025.
Bills for Winter Session 2026 will be issued beginning November 10 (anticipated) and will be due Friday, December 5. All students are billed electronically. You can view and pay your tuition and fees online through myRedDragon. It is important to check your email and account regularly for changes in charges, financial aid or other billed items. For directions on how to view/print your bill, please see View Your Bill. The Student Accounts Office provides general billing and payment information. Students who do not provide payment by the due date will be deregistered.
Winter Session traditionally features a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses, with several options for General Education, Foreign Language and Writing Intensive at the undergraduate level.
The Preliminary Course Listing will be available in late September. The public course schedule is available and provides a listing of courses offered in prior winter terms.

Students may register for a maximum of 5 credit hours during Winter Session.

SUNY Cortland students are scheduled to register beginning on the following dates. Winter Session registration opens with the Spring 2026 time ticket and pin provided during advisement.
