Neubig Dining at SUNY Cortland Plans Grand Opening

The Auxiliary Services Corporation of SUNY Cortland (ASC) will celebrate the grand opening of its Neubig Hall dining facility on Sept. 25. Neubig Dining formally opens following an extensive $3.5 million renovation project over the summer, representing the largest and most dramatic improvement the facility has ever seen.

Biologist Theresa Curtis Developing Rapid Water Testing Kit for U.S. Army

SUNY Cortland biologist Theresa M. Curtis cultivates animal cells in laboratory dishes as she studies better ways to ensure the safety of water supplies. Curtis and other researchers across the country are developing new ways to test drinking water for poisons, whether natural or made by terrorists, with support from the U.S. Army Center for Environmental Health Research. They’re all looking for “the canary in the coal mine.”
