Committee on Academic Advising
The mission of the Committee on Academic Advising is to review best practices and support academic advising initiatives on campus.  The committee reflects upon advising within the institutional mission and its role and impact on student success, retention and degree completion. Committee members assist in identifying ongoing development for advisors and advisees and provide recommendations for improvements. The committee also reviews and selects a recipient of the yearly Excellence in Academic Advising Award.
