Help Us Recruit!
Many of you work in the Recreation, Parks and Leisure Studies field with promising, young seasonal employees or volunteers. We'd love for you to encourage those bright young people to pursue a career in Recreation, Parks and Leisure Studies. As an alumni and a professional, you have a great influence on helping steer this new generation of potential professionals into the field. Please share information about the field and about our degree program at Cortland. We would love to talk with or send information to any bright promising recruits you send our way!! Please help us keep the field strong with the next generation of parks and recreation professionals.

Through their expertise and years of experience in the field, they provide the faculty and department with perspective and feedback to improve teaching, research, service, and other aspects of the department. In addition to the members listed below, the chair of the Metcalf Foundation Board also sits on the committee. Currently, the chair of the Metcalf Board is Mr. John Silsby. Also, the student representative is the president of the SCRA recreation majors club and is elected in the Spring.
