Jordan S. Carroll is a Visiting Assistant Professor of English at the University of Puget Sound. He is the author of Reading the Obscene: Transgressive Editors and the Class Politics of U.S. Literature (Stanford UP, 2021), and his work has appeared in American Literature, Twentieth-Century Literature, Post45, and the Los Angeles Review of Books. He also co-edited the "Weird Temporalities" issue of Studies in the Fantastic with Alison Sperling, and he is currently working on a second book, Speculative Whiteness: Race, Science Fiction, and the Alt-Right.
