Campus Champion

Only two months on campus and Michael Adams is a champion volunteer. The recent transfer from Rochester is a Non Traditional Student Organization representative to the Student Government Association (SGA), facilities coordinator for the Sport Management Club, a financial board member for both the SGA and the ASC and a football and men’s hockey stat keeper. But Adams’ “Make A Wish” fundraiser gives the new media design major proven success. Now in his third year with this service project, he introduced Cortland to the Macy’s “Believe” campaign, under way on campus during November. Last year his efforts raised $20,000. “I would like to match or exceed last year’s goal,” he said.
