Campus Champion

Bob Babcock, technical support specialist, was among the hundreds of campus champions who helped to make the Jets Training Camp a success. He set up the Jets classroom media equipment in Corey Union; installed the lighting, line and NFL cam in the Davis Building for the live press conference video feeds to Los Angeles; coordinated satellite uplink truck provisions at the Stadium Complex for HBO, CBS, SNY and YNN; helped HBO technicians transform the Hall of Fame Room into a studio for a live broadcast to Times Square; and installed phones at the stadium that allowed live broadcasts to 400 radio stations nationally.
